Rahsul Faison Bio

Running back who petitioned for an additional year of eligibility due to the “Pavia” rule… has spent the past two seasons at Utah State… rushed 316 times for 1,845 yards and 13 touchdowns at the D-1 level… has added 33 pass receptions for 151 yards… expected to compete for carries with the Garnet & Black in 2025.

2024 (Sixth Year)
Spent his second year at Utah State… earned second team All-Mountain West Conference honors… rushed 198 times for 1,109 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 5.6 yards per carry… also caught 22 passes for 99 yards… ranked fourth in the MWC in rushing at 92.4 yards per game… posted five 100-yard rushing games including three-straight against Utah (115), at Temple (148 on a career-high 27 carries) and at Boise State (109)… also went for 131 at Wyoming and a career-high 191 on 20 carries versus Hawaii including a season-long 37-yard burst… scored twice against both New Mexico and Hawaii… best receiving game came at Wyoming when he caught four passes for 43 yards… also had four receptions against UNLV and at Colorado State… the Aggies finished with a 4-8 record.

2023 (Redshirt Senior)
Played in all 13 games with three starts in his first season at Utah State… rushed for 736 yards on 118 carries (6.2 ypc/56.6 ypg) and five touchdowns… also caught 11 passes for 52 yards… posted a pair of 100-yard rushing games… rushed for a season-high 181 yards on a season-high 22 carries and one touchdown against Nevada, which was the most rushing yards by an Aggie since 2016… posted his second 100-yard rushing game at New Mexico in the regular season finale as he gained 106 yards on 18 carries and scored his fifth rushing touchdown of the season on a 17-yard run… gained 91 yards on five carries, including a career-long 60-yard run for a touchdown, against Idaho State… had 12 carries for 75 yards and a 24-yard touchdown against Fresno State… added a 5-yard touchdown run at San José State… Had 81 all-purpose yards in his Aggie debut at No. 25 Iowa as he rushed for 59 yards on seven carries and had three receptions for 22 yards, including a season long of 26 yards, all of which were season highs… had seven rushes of at least 20 yards on the season, including three of 40-plus yards… ranked ninth in the MW in rushing (56.6 ypg).

2022 (Redshirt Junior)
Played his second year at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah… rushed for 355 yards on 88 carries (4.0 ypc) and six touchdowns… ran for a season-high 102 yards on 21 carries against Garden City CC… scored a pair of touchdowns against Butler CC as he gained 75 yards on 15 carries… helped the Badgers to an 8-2 record.

2021 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Attended Snow College, a junior college in Utah… did not appear in any games.

2020 (Redshirt Freshman)
Enrolled in online classes from Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pa… did not play football.

2019 (Freshman)
Enrolled at Marshall… did not play football as he was grayshirted in the fall.

HIGH SCHOOL
Named the MVP of the Erickson League and the New England Player of the Year at The Salisbury School, a college prep school in Connecticut in 2018… rushed for 1,890 yards on 199 carries (9.5 ypc/236.3 ypg) and 30 touchdowns… had eight 100-yard rushing games… rushed for a career-high 367 yards on 30 carries and a career-best six touchdowns against Williston Northampton HS, which included a career-long 94-yard touchdown… also rushed for 297 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries against Avon Old Farms HS… rushed for 2,920 yards and 42 touchdowns for Pottsgrove (Pa.) High School in 2017 and 2,084 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2016… earned first-team all-state honors three straight years and was named his league’s Player of the Year in 2017… helped his team to a pair of district titles.

PERSONAL
Rahsul Faison was born Feb. 20, 2000… cousin, Rian Wallace, spent three years in the NFL and won Super Bowl XL with the Pittsburgh Steelers… earned a degree in interdisciplinary studies from Utah State in December 2024… name is pronounced Ruh-suhl Fay-zon.
