• Scored career-high eight points vs. Allen (Dec. 14) ; went 3-for-6 from the floor
• Pulled down a career-high eight rebounds in season-opening win vs. USC Upstate (Nov. 9)

2020-21 (FRESHMAN)

• Saw action in three games, averaging 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 7.7 minutes per contest
• Scored a season high six points in college debut vs. Florida A&M (Jan. 2); was 2-of-4 from the field while also pulling down a career high four rebounds in the Gamecock win
• Also saw action vs. Texas A&M (Jan. 6) and at Kentucky (March 6)

PRE-SOUTH CAROLINA

• Helped high school team post back-to-back state championships during junior and senior seasons
• Averaged 17.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game as a senior en route to Class 4A Player of the Year honors
• As a junior, averaged 10 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game
• Scored 14 points and collected 10 rebounds in state championship win during junior season

• Son of James Benson and Rennè Outen-Pinckney
• Has four brothers, Kwali, Michael, Miles and Mali, and a sister, La’La
• Credits Lebron James as his inspiration in his basketball career
• His advice to young people is to “be yourself and be you!”
