2020-21 (SENIOR)

  • Started six tournaments, posting a scoring average of 73.44 with seven scores of par or better in 18 rounds played
  • T-47th at the NCAA Albuquerque Regional (May 17-19); shot 75-70-76 posting a 54-hole score of 221 (+5)
  • Finished 56th at the SEC Championship (April 21-23), shot 222 (+12) with an opening round 70 (E) to help the team advance to match play; fell 2&1 to Alabama’s Wilson Furr in the SEC Match Play Quarterfinals
  • T-43rd in the regular season finale at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational (April 3-4); shot 219 (+3, 71-78-70)
  • T-37th at the all-SEC Legends Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 25-27), posting a career-best 54-hole score of 212 (-1, 70-69-73)
  • Had a season-best T-26th finish at the all-SEC Blessings Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 5-7) helping the team to a top-five finish in the season opener; shot 222 (+6) with a final round 70 (-2) to help propel Carolina up the leaderboard
  • H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Post-Graduate Scholarship nominee
  • Member of the SEC Community Service Team and earned a place on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll; also named 2020-21 Srixon/Cleveland Golf Scholar All-American for the second time

2019-20 (JUNIOR)

  • Posted a career-best 72.94 scoring average in six events played (five starts) during shortened season due to COVID-19 pandemic
  • Shot par or better seven times in 18 rounds played
  • T-36th at the General Hackler Championship (March 9-10) competing as an individual; shot 69 (-3) in the second round 
  • Logged first ever round in the 60s with a 66 (-5) on the second day of the Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic (Nov. 2-4)
  • Had a career-best T-26th finish in a loaded field at the Tavistock Collegiate invitational (Oct. 20-22); shot 219 (+3) with an even par 72 in the final round
  • Posted a career-best 54-hole score of 212 (-1) at the J.T. Poston Invitational (Sept. 30-Oct. 1); finished with back-to-back, 1-under 70s the final two rounds
  • Took home medalist honors at the Oglethorpe Invitational at Landings Club in Savannah, Ga. (Aug. 8-10); shot an 11-under 205 (67-69-69) to win by a stroke over Eastern Michigan’s Zach Sudinsky
  • Won the 47th South Carolina Amateur Match Play Championship on Father’s Day (June 17); defeated College of Charleston’s Logan Sowell 1-up in 21 holes in the title bout; won five matches total en route to his victory at Columbia Country Club
  • Named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf Scholar All-American for the first time in his career and earned a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

2018-19 (SOPHOMORE)

  • Made his collegiate debut in Garnet and Black at the All-American Intercollegiate (Feb. 17-19), the team’s opening tournament of the spring season; shot 154 (+10, 80-74) in his lone appearance of the year
  • Represented South Carolina on the SEC Community Service Team
  • Named to the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

2017-18 (FRESHMAN)

  • Did not compete in any tournaments for the Gamecocks in initial collegiate season
  • Named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll

PRIOR TO SOUTH CAROLINA

  • Qualified for 2015 and 2016 U.S. Junior Amateurs, reaching the round of 64 in 2016
  • 2014 South Carolina Golf Association Junior Champion
  • Three-time SCISA region individual champion at Heathwood Hall
  • Four-time all-state selection
  • Tied for third individually at 2016 SCISA State Golf Tournament
  • Played in the 5th annual Junior Invitational at Sage Valley
  • Tied for third at the 2016 Grant Bennett Jr. Invitational

PERSONAL

  • Son of Talley and Krista Parrott, and has two sisters — Lillian and Maddy
  • Active in the community and one of the team’s two representatives on SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Council)
  • Public health major
  • Favorite course is Fort Jackson Golf Club (Columbia, S.C.) and favorite ice cream is mint moose tracks
  • Bucket hat enthusiast
  • Chose South Carolina because of the strong reputation of the golf program built by coach McDonald
  • Committed the summer after his freshmen year of high school
