AWARDS

• CSC Academic All-District (2023)

GRADUATE (2022-23)

• Saw action in all of South Carolina’s dual meets during the season
• Competed in five different disciplines during his time with the Gamecocks
• Won the 100 fly during his Garnet & Black debut during the meet versus Army
• Won the 200 free in South Carolina’s dual against UNCW
• Achieved nine top-three finishes during the regular season
• Made his way onto the SEC Championship team where he individually competed in the 100 fly, 200 fly, and 200 IM
• Made the finals of all three of his events at the SEC Championships, finishing 20^th in the 100 fly, 18^th in the 200 fly, and 14^th in the 200 IM

PRE-SOUTH CAROLINA

• Began his career at Florida, swimming for the Gators during the 2017-18 season.
• Swam for three years at North Carolina State University. Was a three-time All-American and a two-time Dean’s List honoree.
• Won the 2021 ACC title in the 800 free relay and was a bronze medalist in the 400 IM
• Individual Best Times:
  • 500 free – 4:16.40
  • 100 fly – 46.40
  • 200 fly – 1:41.89
  • 200 IM – 1:43.19
  • 400 IM – 3:43.47

PRE-COLLEGE

• Swam for Kadikoy Anadolu High School in Istanbul for four years
• Competed in the 2015 World Junior Championships

PERSONAL

• Business major with Supply Chain Management concentration
• Son to Nur and Alper, brother to Mira
• Favorite foods are steak and Turkish cuisine
• Hobbies include playing soccer, spikeball, and chess
