- Competed in five different disciplines during his first season as a Gamecock (200, 500, 1000, and 1650 free, 400 IM)
- Won the 500 free in his collegiate debut at South Carolina’s meet versus Army
- Notched five top-three finished throughout the regular season – five in the 500 free and one in the 1650 free
- Was named SEC Freshman of the Week during the first week of the regular season
- Made his way onto the SEC Championship team where he individually competed in the 200 free, 500 free, and 1650 free
- Made the finals of the 500 free at the SEC Championships where he finished 20th overall

- Swam for Ventura High School in Ventura, CA, and Lanier High School in Buford, GA.
- Swam club for Swim Atlanta under coach Chris Davis Sr. and Chris Davis Jr.
