Appeared in eight meets during his freshman indoor campaign, competing in the pole vault … Narrowly missed out on scoring at the SEC Indoor Championship, finishing ninth overall after clearing 5.31m (17-5) … Was able to win four meets in eight appearances, including capturing the title at the Tiger Paw Invitational after clearing a personal best height of 5.35m (17-6.5) for the fifth best indoor pole vault in program history … Also won the Gamecock Opener (5.10m), Carolina Classic (5.25m) and the USC Invite (5.32m).
Outdoor
Competed in eight meets during his first outdoor season and left his mark in the men’s pole vault … Cleared the second best mark in program history when he won the Florida Relays after vaulting 5.50m (18-0.5) … Finished 16th overall at the NCAA East Regional, clearing 5.20m (17-0.75) and narrowly missing out on advancing to Eugene … Placed 13th overall at the SEC Outdoor Championship, vaulting 5.25m (17-2.75) … Placed third overall at the East Coast Relays (5.15m) and fifth at the Tom Jones Memorial (5.30m).
