Indoors: Vaulted for the Gamecocks in four meets… Set a new collegiate PR of 4.55m (14-11) at the Carolina Challenge… Took 3rd at the Gamecock Opener.
Outdoors: Cancelled.
2019
Indoors: Competed three times in his first indoor season.
Outdoors: Vaulted at three meets during the outdoor campaign… finished 11th at the Gamecock Invitational, clearing 4.20m (13-9 1/4)… had his best showing at the USC Outdoor Open, when he vaulted 4.50m (14-9) to come in fifth place.
High School
Competed at Providence High School for coach Steve Touranjoe… Won the North Carolina 4A state championship in the pole vault and also added three runner-up finishes… Qualified for New Balance Nationals twice, finishing fourth outdoors in 2018… Also lettered in basketball and cross country.
Personal
Son of Brad and Carrie Rabinowitz… Has one brother, Zach, who plays basketball at College of Charleston… His grandfather, Mervin, played basketball at Carolina… Plans to major in biological sciences at Carolina with the goal of working in pediatric oncology… Chose Carolina after his first visit, when he fell in love with the campus and the people.
