Cade Fortin

Cade Fortin joined the Gamecocks’ staff in 2026 as an assistant wide receivers coach. 

Fortin came to South Carolina after serving as an assistant coach for the running backs at TCU in 2025, where he worked with current Gamecocks’ offensive coordinator Kendal Briles.

Originally from Suwanee, Ga., Fortin, who was a quarterback in college, began his playing career at North Carolina. He also had a stop at South Florida before finishing up at Arkansas in 2023. He appeared in 14 games over the three stops, passing for 745 yards.
