Tanner Jackson

Tanner Jackson is in his third season on the Carolina staff. He joined the Gamecocks’ staff in 2024 as a quality control coach for the defense. He is now a defensive assistant working with the defensive backs.

Jackson came to Columbia after a one-year stint on the Appalachian State staff as a quality control coach. Previously, he was a student assistant with the App State football program from 2018-21.

In 2022, Jackson worked on the ULM coaching staff as a defensive analyst.

Jackson graduated from App State in 2021, earning his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science. 

Jackson’s wife’s name is Abbie.
