South Carolina women’s athletics teams continue to succeed both on the competition field and in the classroom. In order to enhance the experience of our female student-athletes and to ensure they are set up for success when they graduate from the University of South Carolina, we need your help.
You can support our women’s sports through a donation to The Women of South Carolina fund or through the Sport-Specific Giving Program.
The Women of South Carolina Fund
The Women of South Carolina Fund was launched in 2020 with the goal of directly enhancing the female student-athlete experience at South Carolina.
The fund gives an opportunity to for alumni, Gamecock Club members and our community to invest their resources, skill and support into our female student-athletes, changing their lives forever.
This initiative will directly impact the student-athletes through:
- Program support – providing resources and facility enhancements for all women’s sports programs to ensure continued success
- Program development – providing team-building opportunities and chances to travel/compete internationally
- Career development – providing professional networking through our student-athlete mentor program
- Leadership training – creating opportunities for student-athletes to continue to grow as leaders in sport, business and society
- Endowed scholarships – ensuring financial aid for worthy student-athlete

Sport-Specific Giving Program
The Gamecock Club created the Sport-Specific Giving Program to provide alumni, Gamecock Club members and fans an exclusive opportunity to direct their financial support to the team of their choice. Every dollar donated to the Sport-Specific Giving Program has an immediate impact on the greatest needs of the program of your designation
Funds raised through these programs support:
- Facility enhancements and upgrades
- Training technology advancements
- Mental health performance
- Academic advacements
