Stadium and Riverfront Area Development Project
Last year, the University of South Carolina issued a formal Request for Information (RFI), which was the first step in determining the potential scope of this project as well as identifying possible development partners who have an interest in pursuing a comprehensive land use agreement with the University. After review of the RFI submissions, a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Stadium and Riverfront Area Development Project was issued in July of 2024.
The RFP included the potential development of more than 800 acres of undeveloped USC property situated adjacent the Congaree River, west of the existing Long Family Football Operations Facility as well as university controlled areas along Key Road.
The maps below show the areas that are included in the RFP for the Stadium and Riverfront Area Development Project.
Submissions for this RFP are due back to the University by December 12, 2024. More information about the Stadium and Riverfront Area Development Project will be available in 2025.
