Collectives
Collectives are organizations that are independent of a university. Their goal is to pool funds from boosters and businesses to help facilitate NIL deals for athletes as well as creating ways for student-athletes to monetize their brands.
Garnet Trust
The Garnet Trust is the Official NIL Partner of South Carolina Athletics. The Garnet Trust launched in 2021 with a goal to become the most unique, built-to-last and effective NIL entity in the country. The Garnet Trust utilizes NIL deals to create experiences between the fan base, student-athletes and businesses.
In addition, they launched the Garnet Trust Foundation. Its mission to help promote, support, and advance charitable organizations and causes, educate the general public regarding these charitable organizations and causes, and to make positive impacts on communities, by utilizing the names, images, and likenesses and notoriety of University of South Carolina student-athletes.

Carolina Rise
Carolina Rise is a Name, Image and Likeness collective that supports University of South Carolina through paid promotional opportunities through a vast network of media and business partners.
Rise functions as a crowdsourced NIL collective and relies on Gamecock fans joining at a membership level and partnerships with hundreds of small business to generate revenue, which goes directly into deals for the players.
Rise is partnered with and funds Park Avenue, a division of Everett Sports Marketing. Park Avenue provides professional agency representation for Gamecock student athletes at no charge to the student athlete.

- Rise is dedicated to supporting an already first-class student athlete experience at South Carolina by working closely with USC and other collectives when it is needed.
- Rise is unwaveringly committed to facilitating “Commercial NIL” opportunities with elite brands through Park Avenue for elite Carolina players and teams that are not available at any other program in the country.
- Rise is committed to using our massive media reach and resources to promote our small business partners and help them message, thrive and grow.
- Rise is committed to providing value for its non-business (individual) members through a variety of programs and experiences.
