COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Gamecocks competed in the third-annual SEC Coaches Beach Volleyball Championship on Saturday in Siesta Key, Fla., bringing back one bracket title and a second-place showing in another.

South Carolina’s pairing of rising sophomore Taylor Bruns and rising senior Megan Laughlin claimed the silver championship, marking the second-consecutive year a Garnet and Black duo captured that crown. Rising sophomores Christina Glover and Lindsey Roy lost in the first round of the division.

Another Gamecock pairing finished second in bracket play, as rising junior Teresa Stenlund and rising sophomore Brandi Byers took the second-place finish in the Bronze bracket.

After ranking second of 12 in pool play, rising seniors Jordan Bradosky and Hannah Lawing dropped the first-round match in the Gold bracket to the eventual runners-up from Florida.
