South Carolina volleyball(10-3, 3-0) begins an extensive SEC road stint as the Gamecocks will play three matches in six days. This weekend, USC travels to Fayetteville, Ark. and Baton Rouge, La. to face the Arkansas Lady Razorbacks (11-3, 2-0) and the LSU Tigers (9-4, 1-1). Friday’s match against Arkansas begins at 8 p.m. (ET), while the LSU match is scheduled for Sunday at 2:30 p.m. (ET).

The Gamecocks are 4-8 against Arkansas and have lost the last two meetings. Against LSU, Carolina is 9-6 and currently has a seven-match win streak. In Fayetteville, Carolina is 2-3. The Gamecocks’ last win in Barnhill Arena was a 3-1 victory in 2000. The Gamecocks are 5-4 in Baton Rouge against the Tigers. USC’s last win in the P-MAC was in 2000 as well. Carolina is currently in the middle of a four-match win streak.

Both Arkansas and LSU are coming off of victories, as the Lady ‘Backs defeated Tennessee 3-0 last weekend, and the Tigers swept New Orleans 3-0 in a Wednesday mid-week matchup.

The Lady ‘Backs’ Sarah Kincaid was named the SEC Player of the Week last week for her efforts against LSU and Tennessee. The junior middle blocker hit .407, recorded a career high 17 kills against LSU, and added 11 kills and six blocks against Tennessee.

The Tigers are led by Jennifer Hampton with 213 kills, and Regan Hood with 40 blocks. Lauren Cuyler is currently fourth in the conference in hitting percentage with .364.
