October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month And October 6-13 is Pink Ribbon Week. The Gamecock women’s track and field team will join a number of people in the Rotunda at the State House on Monday, Oct. 7 to kick-off Pink Ribbon Week.

“The community has been so supportive our track and field teams – of Gamecock athletics as a whole,” said USC Head Coach Curtis Frye. “Our teams recognize the importance of giving back to the community and supporting their neighbors.”

Joining Coach Frye and the women’s team will be First Lady Rachel Hodges and Breast Cancer Survivor, Joyce Heatherly, at a Press Conference Monday, October 7th at 3:30 p.m. in the Rotunda at the State House.
