Knoxville, TN – The nationally ranked South Carolina Gamecock Volleyball team has passed the first test, but now faces another challenge as they play the Arkansas Lady Razorbacks (19-10, 12-3 SEC) in a semifinal match at the SEC Volleyball Tournament in Knoxville, TN.

Last night, the Gamecocks defeated the Tennessee Lady Volunteers 3-2 in a SEC quarterfinal tournament match. Game scores were 31-29, 20-30, 17-30, 30-27, and 15-9.

The Lady Razorbacks defeated the Kentucky Wildcats in another quarterfinal match yesterday, 3-0. South Carolina lost to Arkansas at Carolina 3-1 on October 12, 2001 and is 4-7 against the Lady Razorbacks all-time, with South Carolina last winning in Arkansas on September 24, 2000 in Fayetteville, AK.
