As the first month of the Carolina Now! campaign draws to a close, it is evident that the word is spreading about the opportunity available for Gamecock fans as over 700 people have joined the Gamecock Club this month.

“The depth and passion of our fan support never ceases to amaze me,” said Gamecock Club Director Patrick McFarland. “It’s great to see the number of people who will have their own membership and football tickets for the first time.”

The campaign has targeted fans through a variety of mediums, including direct mailings, e-mail blasts, television commercials and public events. The promotion has doubled the number of page views of GamecockClub.org. Several hundred people attended one of the three Carolina Now! events held at the Floyd Football Building in Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Carolina Now! Tour has already visited several parts of the state to reach out to current and prospective members. The tour features speaking appearances by Coach Steve Spurrier, Coach Darrin Horn and Coach Dawn Staley. Athletics Director Eric Hyman has also spoken at these events.

Events in Aiken, Myrtle Beach, Charleston and Atlanta remain on the tour schedule. Fans interested in Gamecock Club membership and football season tickets can join the club and select their season tickets at the event.
