Columbia,S.C. – The University of South Carolina women’s soccer team (4-2) concludes a three-game homestand on Wednesday evening with a 7 p.m. match vs. Charleston Southern. USC is fresh off a 3-1 victory vs. College of Charleston on Saturday afternoon. South Carolina heads into the contest with Charleston Southern leading the series 5-0. USC earned a Southeast Region ranking of ninth this week from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

South Carolina senior Morgan McIntyre scored twice for Carolina in Saturday’s win. With her two goals, McIntyre moved up to second on the All-Time Gamecock Scoring List with 56 points. McIntyre leads the Gamecocks in goals scored this season with five. McIntyre is tied for third in the SEC for goals scored as well.

Carolina opened the homestand last Wednesday vs. in-state rival Clemson with 1,863 fans attending the game, a new USC women’s soccer record. The Gamecocks return to the road this Saturday with a 2 p.m. match at N.C. State.
