COLUMBIA, S.C. – After two rounds of action at the Cleveland Kiawah Island Classic, the University of South Carolina is tied for 13th with Southeastern Conference foe LSU. Both teams shot a two-round score of 610.

The College of Charleston is on top of the leader board with a total of 581, which was nine strokes ahead of second-place Mississippi. Third place belongs to Alabama and Vanderbilt who both came away with a 594 total after 36 holes.

Leading the way for the Gamecocks is sophomore Martin Romigner. Rominger, who is tied for 13th, fired a two-round score of 148 (73-75). Freshman Eirik Johansen is second on the Gamecock squad after blasting 150. Johanesn is in 28th place, while Scott Feaster placed 55th. Alex Hamilton finished the day in 58th and Jake Thompson concluded day one in 67th.

The third and final round of the Cleveland Kiawah Island Classic begins at 7:45 a.m.
