Columbia, S.C.- The fifth-ranked South Carolina men’s soccer team hosts the South Carolina Gamecock Classic this weekend at Eugene E. Stone III Stadium. USC plays New Hampshire on Friday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. and the No. 10 Washington Huskies on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 1:30 p.m. Both USC matches can be heard live on the internet at www.uscsports.com.

Friday’s match against the Wildcats of Hew Hampshire is just the second meeting between the two teams. USC one the first match, 3-1, back in 1995. The Gamecocks lead the series between USC and Washington, 1-0-1. The last meeting between the two teams resulted in a 1-1 tie.

Friday night’s match is scout night at Stone Stadium. Any boy or girl wearing a scout uniform will receive free admission. On Sunday, any fan who brings a Georgia football ticket stub to the South Carolina match will be admitted for $1. Players will be available for autographs at the conclusion of both Carolina matches.
