COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s basketball players gave back to the community and one of their own Friday afternoon, putting on a basketball clinic for girls ages 6-12 at Hyatt Park. Organized by former Gamecock Michelle Murray, the camp includes both boys and girls, but it was just the girls that got the privilege of learning from the Gamecocks.
In the two-hour session, the Gamecocks helped campers hone their dribbling, ball-handling and passing skills. The campers put those skills to the test in a series of relay races that also mandated attention to detail and carefully following instructions.
