Gamecock Athletics has entered into a partnership with Coach Low Country Brands to offer a Gamecock-branded bottle of seasoning to fans across the state and region, it was announced today.
Two dollars from the sale of each Gamecock bottle of seasoning will benefit student-athletes at the University of South Carolina. One dollar will be donated to the Gamecock Club for student-athlete scholarships and one dollar will be donated to the building campaign for the Academic Enrichment Center.
“We are very excited about the partnership with Coach Low Country Brands,” said Athletics Director Eric Hyman. “Our student-athletes will benefit each time someone in the Gamecock Nation purchases some of this special seasoning.”
Twenty-three ounce bottles of the Gamecock seasoning will be available beginning in mid-February at Bi-Lo and Piggly Wiggly stores around the state.
Coach’s Low Country Brands, owned and operated by “Coach” Joe Crosby, is headquartered in Seneca, S.C. As a former student-athlete and coach, Crosby has always understood the need for financial support of the athletic and academic programs within all educational levels.
“We are so proud to be involved with the University of South Carolina through this partnership. Our company got its start right here in South Carolina and we feel it is important to give back and support education in our state,” said Crosby, President and CEO of Coach’s Low Country Brands.
