Columbia, S.C. – – The South Carolina women’s golf team is represented in full force at The LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament Presented by American Airlines from Nov. 30, 2005 through Dec. 4, 2005 at LPGA International Legends and Champions courses in Daytona Beach, Fla. The tournament is a 90-hole event., with former Gamecocks Kristy McPherson, Adrienne Gautreaux, Cecilia Ekelundh, Marianne Morris and Clarissa Childs all contenders in a field consisting of 140 players competing for 24 exempt cards and 35 non-exempt cards. The field is made up of 63 players from the LPGA Sectional Qualifying Tournaments, 10 players from the Futures Tour money list and 67 current LPGA Tour members attempting to regain or improve their status.
