Columbia, S.C. – After defeating Drury 3-0 on Sunday afternoon, the University of South Carolina men’s soccer team jumps into the top ten for the second time this season. USC, posting a record of 10-3-2, is currently 10th in the College Soccer Weekly poll. The Gamecocks improved two spots, after being ranked 12th for two consecutive weeks.

South Carolina is also ranked in the top 20 in three other soccer publications, including College Soccer News (14th), Soccer Times (15th) and NSCAA/adidas (20th).

This week the Gamecocks travel to Chapel Hill, N. C. to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels Friday, Nov. 9 at 7:00 p.m. Following the Carolina matchup, USC hosts their final match of the regular season on Sunday, Nov. 11 against Elon. Kickoff is slated for 2:00 p.m.
