–USC, now at 4-0 to start the season, has accomplished that feat for the fourth time in the last five seasons
–Carolina has begun a season 4-0 or better in 18 of the 32 seasons men’s tennis has existed at USC
–With the wins over Charlotte and Davidson Sunday, South Carolina has won its first two road matches for the second time since 1997
–The Gamecocks have now won the last 11 matches they have played at Davidson (9-0 vs. Davidson, 2-0 vs. Charlotte)
–USC has won 6 of the last 7 matches it has played in the state of North Carolina
–Carolina has captured 14 of the last 16 matches played against opponents from the Tar Heel State
–USC has defeated Davidson 21 straight times, dating back to a 6-3 loss at Davidson in 1984.
–Davidson has now been held to 2 or less points in a match against USC for the 17th straight year, dating back to a 5-3 Carolina win in 1988.
–The Gamecocks now hold a 30-1 record in the series with Davidson. The series has been played every year since 1973, except for 1979.
