Carolinas Sports Entertainment Television (C-SET) made a late addition to its college basketball schedule, it was announced today by C-SET Executive Vice President Naomi Travers. On Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 7:30 p.m., C-SET will air the Appalachian State v. University of South Carolina men’s college basketball match-up live from Columbia.
Former NBA star Dell Curry will provide the analysis and veteran sports broadcaster Steve Martin will provide the play-by-play. The game will be the inaugural college basketball telecast for C-SET and kick off a Carolinas-intensive college basketball game schedule for the 2004-05 season.
“We are excited about the opportunity to be associated with quality programs such as South Carolina and Appalachian State,” said C-SET Executive Vice President Naomi Travers. “We are especially thrilled to bring a game of this caliber to the sports fans of the Carolinas.”
C-SET is carried on cable systems across North and South Carolina as follows; Time Warner channel 150 in Charlotte, Time Warner channel 148 in Columbia, Time Warner channel 126 in the Greensboro/Winston – Salem area, Time Warner channel 148 in Myrtle Beach/Florence, Time Warner channel 140 in Raleigh/Durham, Time Warner 150 in Wilmington, and Comporium channel 208 in Rock Hill.
