This weekend marks the final regular SEC schedule for the South Carolina volleyball team as the Gamecocks will take on the No. 7 Florida Gators and the Georgia Bulldogs. USC will face Florida on Friday at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in Gainesville at 5 p.m. The USC-UGA match will be Sunday at the Ramsey Center in Athens, Ga. at 1:30 p.m.

USC enters the weekend 12-11 and 5-9 in the SEC while the seventh-ranked Gators are 22-2 and a perfect 14-0 in SEC play and the Bulldogs are 16-8, 8-6 in the SEC. Georgia is third in the SEC east, fifth overall. USC is still searching for an Eastern division victory and will have their last chance this weekend.

The Gamecocks are currently seventh in the SEC and have a spot in the SEC Tournament, which will be held next week, Nov. 12-14. The final seeds for the tournament will be announced Sunday evening.

USC is coming off of an impressive 3-0 victory against Arkansas, the SEC west leader, last Sunday while the Gators and Bulldogs met Wednesday night and UF recorded a 3-0 win over UGA.

USC fell 3-0 to Florida back on Oct. 24 and 3-1 to Georgia on Oct. 22. For the series, Florida leads 31-6 and Georgia leads 36-12. The Gamecocks are looking for their first win against Florida since 1994 and their first win against Georgia since 2002.
