“Obviously there is still a lot of work to do. The good news is there is plenty of time to work on it. We will get it done. Some areas of concern is our post defense. We got into foul trouble and we need to work on that. The other area of concern is our perimeter defense, particularly our defensive transition.”
“All in all, we got through it . It was not a real impressive performance but we will build upon it for sure.”
“Tarence Kinsey played well in most areas and Tre Kelly had his moments. This game taught us who we are and what we have to do to get better.”

“We played better than our last exhibition game. We had prepared more for this game and we really wanted to cut down on offensive rebounds. For a while there, we kept it pretty close. We had it down to seven or eight and they knocked down a couple of three-point shots, went on a run and then had an 18-point lead.”
“We have good young guards on our team. The team competed and that’s what we needed. Early on in the season you will always have a lot of turnovers. Both teams made mistakes but that will come down as there is more time to practice and more time to cut down on those
