Columbia, SC – ETVSports will be taking the USC basketball team into the international spotlight when it airs the USC v. Arkansas and USC v. Auburn games through the Armed Forces Network. The games will also be available on tape delay on ETV and the South Carolina Channel.
The Armed Forces Network, which includes television and radio broadcasts, reaches 177 countries and over 850,000 service men and women around the world, including those serving in Iraq. ETV is taping spots to be shown during the game from family members here in South Carolina to their loved ones serving overseas. Lancaster, the town with the most deployed National Guard members in South Carolina, will be the site of taping by ETV today.
ETV airs the USC/Arkansas game on tape delay on Feb. 2 at 11:30 p.m.and the USC/Auburn game on tape delay on Feb. 12 at 11 p.m, and the games will air the day after they are played on the South Carolina Channel. The games had originally been scheduled to air live on the South Carolina Channel until USC discovered that exclusivity agreements the Southeastern Conference has with Jefferson-Pilot, ESPN and Fox Sports Net precluded that.

2/12 USC vs. Auburn– 11:00 p.m. on ETV; repeated 2/13 at 7:30 p.m on SCC

Announcers for the games are Mike Morgan, who will cover the play by play action, and Lane Odom, who will provide color analysis.
The South Carolina Channel is ETV’s digital broadcast service, committed to airing events and programs of interest to those in the Palmetto State and surrounding areas. Viewers can access the South Carolina Channel over the air with a digital television set, as well as receive it through the digital tiers of their local cable company. Currently, the South Carolina Channel is carried by digital cable by Time Warner (802), Comporium (202), Comcast (192) and Charter Communications (115).
