Vanderbilt Head Coach Kevin Stallings
“We’re obviously disappointed. (In the second half) our shot selection did us in. We gave ourselves a chance, but we got down and didn’t get enough good efforts from our key guys. While we did get a good efforts from some of our players, we didn’t get enough top flight efforts from our key players and when that happens, it’s tough to win on the road in this league.
“We didn’t execute as well on offense (in the second half). I thought we took questionable shots. We stopped getting the ball inside and stopped driving the paint. It really hurt us that we weren’t running our offense long enough. We got trigger happy. We just didn’t do a good job running our offense. They enabled themselves to become the aggressor, and we got back on our heels.”
