COLUMBIA, S.C. –
Gamecock fans that are interested in a good deal for a family outing this weekend are in luck as the Carolina volleyball team will host the Gamecock Invitational, Sept. 17-19 at the Volleyball Competition Facility. The USC athletic department is sponsoring various promotions that can provide free admission to Gamecock volleyball all weekend long. The event will give the community a chance to watch some of the best volleyball in the country this weekend as participating teams include two-time defending national champion and second-ranked Southern California, and top 25 contenders Michigan State and Notre Dame.

Friday is “Family Night” and all children with their families get free admission to watch USC take on No. 2 Southern California at 7 p.m. On Saturday, all Gamecock fans that show up in garnet or black get free admission to watch Carolina play Michigan State, which is scheduled for noon. For Sunday’s 2 p.m. meeting between the Gamecocks and Notre Dame, fans that bring their ticket stub from the USC vs. South Florida football game and get free admission.

All matches will be held at the Volleyball Competition Facility, which is located at the corner of Blossom and Assembly streets, adjacent to Carolina Coliseum.
