Lexington, Ky. –
South Carolina volleyball is still looking for their first SEC Eastern division win, as they travel to face the Kentucky Wildcats for a 2 p.m. Sunday match. USC enters the meeting with an 11-9 overall record and a 4-7 mark in the conference. UK is 11-11 overall and 2-9 in the SEC. After suffering a 3-2 loss to the Wildcats in Columbia back on Oct. 1., the Gamecocks are in search of retribution.

The loss to Kentucky earlier in the season was the first for the Gamecocks since 2000, nine matches. USC still leads the series 16-14. Both teams are currently in the midst of a three-match losing streak. USC’s last two losses have been to top 25 teams.

Statistically, the Wildcats are averaging 15.85 kills per game while USC is averaging 14.61. The Gamecocks lead UK in service aces 142-81 and blocks 2.82 per game to 2.51 per game.
