USC’S women’s track and field team had a big day at the final day of the 38th annual Sea Ray Relays, winning two relays and finishing second in another.

USC is off next weekend in preparation for Penn Relays in Philadelphia the next weekend.

USC won the 4x400m relay with a season-best time of 3:27.19 and an NCAA Regional time, with USC paced by Stephanie Smith, Shevon Stoddart, Tawana Watkins and Lashinda Demus. The time is the third fastest time in school history.

USC also won the shuttle hurdle relay with a time of 54.50 with Demus, Stoddart, Watkins and Smith running.

USC’s women were second in the 4x100m relay, picking up an NCAA Regional mark at 44.43.

On the men’s side, Tony Allmond was second in the long jump, hitting 24′ 8 1/2.

Chelsea Hammond (19′ 10 1/4) and Kemesha Whitmire (19′ 9 1/4) were fourth and fifth, respectively in the long jump, with both collecting NCAA Regional marks.
