The Gamecock Golf Gallery will present the fourth annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction on Monday, May 10th from 7 to 9:00 p.m. at Seawell’s Restaurant (1125 Rosewood Drive). The event was originally scheduled for February 26th but was cancelled due to inclement weather. All tickets purchased for February 26th will be honored Monday night.
The night will feature some of the finest wines from around the world, autographed memorabilia and collectibles to be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going to USC Golf. Some of the items to be bid on include a Harley Davidson motorcycle, a sky diving trip, a one-year membership to the University Club, a weekend for two at The Biltmore with a private chef at the guests’ disposal, vintage wines, golf equipment and autographed South Carolina items.
The Gamecock Gallery was formed in 2000 as a support group for both the men’s and women’s golf team. All proceeds from the Gamecock Gallery events go directly to the University of South Carolina’s golf programs. Last year, the Wine Tasting and Silent Auction raised over $40,000 for the Gamecock golf teams.
