Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina women’s soccer team has announced 13 players who have committed to play for the Gamecocks beginning in the 2004 season. The list includes four players from South Carolina, five players from Georgia, and one player from Connecticut, Florida, Idaho and Texas.

“We are excited for this large class of freshmen to join us in the fall,” said USC head coach Shelley Smith. “The group is made up of hardworking, talented players. Our coaching staff and players have enjoyed getting to know all of them through the recruiting process and we look forward to having them join the the Gamecock soccer family.”
