Senior Rodrigo Pacheco and the doubles team of Ben Atkinson and David Nelson advanced into semifinal play before being knocked off at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Georgia.

Pacheco, the No. 1 seed of the singles B draw, opened the day with a victory over Ian Vlad 6-3, 6-2. In the semifinals Pacheco dropped a tough match to Fabio Campos 6-3, 6-2.

South Carolina’s Atkinson and Nelson rolled over the team of Henderson and Ward 8-5 in doubles A draw quarterfinal competition. In the semifinals the team of Fillnow and Rogers knocked off Atkinson and Nelson 8-4.

The Gamecocks are back in action next weekend in Columbia as they prepare to host the South Carolina Invitational October 19-21. Listed below are the complete results from Saturday’s play.
