The votes are still coming in as USC mascot Cocky will wrap up his campaign for Capital One National Mascot of the Year within the next two weeks. Cocky will push hard for votes and visit Columbiana Centre and Columbia Place malls for the next two weekends. Shoppers can see Cocky beginning Friday, Dec. 12 from 5-7 p.m. at Columbiana Centre and Saturday, Dec. 13 at Columbia Place from 1-3 p.m.

The All-America bird will be available for picture opportunities and will have “Vote for Cocky” flyers and bumper stickers to distribute. Cocky will return to Columbia Place on Saturday, Dec. 20 from 6-8 p.m. and will close out his campaign efforts at Columbiana Centre on Sunday, Dec. 21 from 2-4.

With a third place standing, Cocky is still in the thick of the race and it will come down to the wire. Fans are encouraged to vote everyday at www.capitalonebowl.com from now until 5 p.m. (EST) Monday, Dec. 22. The winner will be announced during the Capital One Bowl on Jan. 1, 2004.
