Arkansas Head Coach Chris Poole:
“We need to work on our blocking and our defense. We need to pick that up. You have to really be able to defend well against Florida. They do a lot of things offensively that most teams do not. They know how to win. What we need to do is pick ourselves up to another level.”

“We feel like we need Kincaid or Bibber on the front line at all times because of the youth of our other players. Their leadership has really been on of the keys to our success this year.”

Sara Kincaid, Arkansas, Sr., Middle Blocker
“We need to pick ourselves up to the next level. If we can play like we know Arkansas can play, we’ll do well tomorrow.”

“We lost three players last year, but team unity has been outstanding this year. We have all been very close.”

Alabama Head Coach Judy Green
“Arkansas played terrific all three games. Their serving put us out of rythem and we couldn’t get into our system 75 percent of the day, and that makes it difficult to score. Our passes weren’t able to hold their serves. I would of likes to see us come out and serve better today. Both matches we played against them have been decided from the service line. This is the first match in 13-14 matches that we haven’t hit over 20 percent of the match. That makes it difficult when you’re not able to side out.”

Erin Heffner, Alabama, Jr., Outside Hitter
“We didn’t play as a team well. They are a very tough serving team and we didn’t pass well and didn’t execute.”

“We’re very pleased with how we played tonight. Most of the match we had the intensity that I know this team can have. We let down a little in game 3, but we came back. That has been the story of this team this year. I was glad to see us play strong and come back.

We’ve worked hard on serving this year. When we can serve well, we take most teams out of their game.
