KANSAS CITY, Mo. – USC captured its 15th tournament in school history by winning the Guardians Classic on Tuesday night with a 67-61 win over Richmond. Sophomore Tarence Kinsey was named the Tournament MVP with junior Carlos Powell being named to the All-Tournament team.

Off to a 5-0 start for the first time since the 1997-98 season, USC hosts Campbell at 8 pm on Saturday, Nov. 29 at The Colonial Center. The Gamecocks will then hit the road for a three-game road swing (at The Citadel Dec. 3, at Clemson Dec. 6 and at Temple Dec. 15) prior to returning home for a Dec. 17 match-up with Charleston Southern at 7:30 pm.
