No. 4 South Carolina Back in Action at Valspar Augusta Invitational

AUGUSTA, Ga. — No. 4 South Carolina opens play at the Valspar Augusta Invitational on Saturday morning. It’s a shotgun start for the field at 8 a.m. (ET) as teams will play 36 holes tomorrow.
 
The Gamecocks will be paired with No. 14 Florida State and No. 23 Virginia Tech.
 
Carolina will have the same five-player lineup it has all season this week with its order slightly tweaked again. Junior Mathilde Claisse, who led the team with a T-6^th finish at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate two weeks ago, will be the No. 1 player on the lineup card.
 
Freshman Louise Rydqvist will be second followed by freshman Hannah Darling, junior Justine Fournand and graduate transfer Tai Anudit. Sophomore Paula Kirner will compete as an individual this week.
 
Darling is the highest ranked Gamecock in the Golfstat Player Rankings, checking in at No. 14. Claisse (No. 81), Anudit (No. 93) and Rydqvist (No. 94) all join her in the top-100. Fournand sits just outside at No. 125.
