Jyllissa Harris Named to MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List

KANSAS CITY, MO – Fifth-year women’s soccer player Jyllissa Harris has been named to the 2022 Hermann Trophy Watch List, as announced by unitedsoccercoaches.com on Thursday.

The Hermann Trophy, presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club, is the nation’s highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by the voting of Division I coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches.

Harris joins 60 other players named to the list. In the 2022 preseason, Harris has additionally been named to the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Player to Watch List for Defenders, the TopDrawer Top 100 Players to Watch List, and the SEC Preseason Players to Watch List.

Harris and the rest of the Gamecocks take on No. 1 Florida State to open the 2022 regular season, Thursday, Aug. 18 in Stone Stadium at 7:00 P.M.
