Indoors: Did not compete
Outdoors: Returned from her redshirt season to lead the Gamecocks in the 400m as well as the 4x400m relay, qualifying for the NCAA Championships in both events… Earned four regular-season wins in the 400m, at the Black & Gold Challenge, Weems Baskin Invitational, Gamecock Invitational and Tennessee Relays… Missed the SEC Championships but easily qualified for the NCAA East Regional, where she matched a PR in the finals with a time of 52.04… That time was 10th-best at the Regional to punch her ticket to Eugene… At the NCAA Championships, she finished 18th in the 400 with a mark of 53.09… Guided the 4x400m relay to a time of 3:33.22 at the NCAA East Regional as they finished 7th to earn a nationals berth… Was part of the mile relay that finished 17th at the NCAA Championships… Also led the Gamecocks in the 200m dash, running the team’s top time of the season (23.40) to win the USC Open… competed over the summer at the Aliann Pompey Invitational, running 52.31 to win the 400m.

2017
Indoors: Was South Carolina’s top 400m runner, finishing in the top five of every regular-season race… turned in a season-best 53.39 at the Tiger Paw Invitational… finished 16th at the SEC Championships with a time of 54.39… also part of the 4x400m relay, including a second-place finish at Vanderbilt and a win at the Armory Invitational… placed ninth at the NCAA Indoor Championships to earn second-team All-America honors.
Outdoors: Did not compete.

2016
Indoors: Started her college career on a high note, winning the 400m at the Texas A&M Invite with a time of 53.21… placed third in the 400 at the Armory Invite… Ran the top preliminary time in the 400 at the SEC Indoor Championship, and finished seventh in the final to score for the team… finished the indoor season ranked 18th in the country for the 400, just two places out of qualifying for nationals… also a key member of the mile relay, including a win at the Armory Invite and a sixth-place finish at SECs.
Outdoors: National qualifier in the 400m dash and as part of the 4x400m relay… won bronze in the 4x400m relay at the national championship, and finished eighth overall in the 400m prelims… finished the outdoor season as the nation’s fastest freshman in the 400m… ran the ninth-fastest 400m time in program history (52.04) to place fourth at the SEC Championship final… earned silver at SECs with the 4x400m relay, and the team’s time of 3:28.53 is the eighth-fastest in school history… ran the team’s top 400m time of the season, and the second-best time in the 200m (23.92)… represented Guyana at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, running the 400m.

HIGH SCHOOL
2015 Brooks PR Invitational champion in the 400… 2011 and 2012 Jr. Olympic champion in the 400… won the Georgia state title in the 400 and was runner-up in the 200… Georgia 6A record holder in the 400… owns school records in the 200 and 400… 2015 All-Metro Atlanta award… 2015 Gwinnett County runner of the year… graduated with honors.

Born April 3, 1997… daughter of Claudia Lloyd-Abrams and Denzel Abrams… has two older siblings, Jasmine and Christopher… plans to major in exercise science… born in Brooklyn, N.Y.
