Gamecocks in Third After 36 Holes of Daniel Island Intercollegiate

CHARLESTON, S.C. — South Carolina is in third place after day one of the Daniel Island Intercollegiate. The Gamecocks shot 5-under the first 36 holes of the tournament on Sunday.
 
Seton Hall leads at 12-under while Florida State is second at 8-under heading into the final round on Monday.
 
Senior All-American Ryan Hall and junior Jack Wall continued their standout play for Carolina as they each sit T-3^rd at 3-under.
 
Freshman Nathan Franks bounced back from a tough round one with a 2-under 70 in round two that featured three birdies and just one bogey.
