QUOTABLES – Post-UAB
Head Coach Tony Annan on …
… his thoughts after the 2-0 win against UAB:
“I’m really pleased for the lads. I’m pleased for the team that we got out first conference win. We took a lot of momentum into the game from our results against Gardner-Webb and FAU. We’re pleased to come out with a clean sheet and a win.”
… how important Logan Frost is to the offense:
“You can’t knock Logan’s work rate. You can’t knock Logan’s effort. He found himself in two very good spots tonight and finished his goals very well. I’m happy for him. A bunch of his family was here, so he got to do that in front of his family.”
… what they need to do well against Georgia Southern:
“We just need to continue with our momentum, our work rate and our mentality. We just need to keep improving the way we play and keep on improving the identity of South Carolina and we’ll have a quick turnaround to do that.”
