Tulsa, Okla. – The South Carolina men’s tennis team will return home after playing its final matches at the ITA All-American Championships this morning.

No. 39 Raphael Lambling was bested by Tadeas Paroulek of Baylor in straight sets in the singles main draw consolation round of 16.

Sophomore Toby Samuel put up a hard fight throughout the tournament, but ultimately fell to No. 115 Chris Rodesch of Virginia 6-2, 6-2 in today’s consolation round.

Samuel entered the tournament in the qualifying rounds and won three singles matches to secure his spot in the main draw. After coming up short in the first round of the main draw, Samuel picked up another singles win in the consolations to advance to the consolation round of 16 where his journey ended.
