Play Suspended on Day One of Windy City Collegiate

WILMETTE, Ill. – Play was suspended due to darkness on day one of the Windy City Collegiate on Monday with nine teams still set to finish their second rounds. Top-ranked South Carolina was one of six teams who finished all 36 holes.
 
The Gamecocks had a tough day, shooting 307 (+19) in the morning during round one and 308 (+20) in round two. Carolina sits 14^th currently at 39-over but is only nine shots out of the top-six.
 
True freshman Hannah Darling is T-17^th at 6-over for the tournament currently. She shot 76 (+4) in the opening round and paced the team in round two with a 74 (+2).
 
The final round will begin Tuesday morning as soon as round two is concluded. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat.
