Roussin-Bouchard set for LPGA Evian Championship
COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s golf junior Pauline Roussin-Bouchard is set to play in Amundi Evian Championship, part of the LPGA tour, at the Evian Resort Golf Club on July 22-25.
Roussin-Bouchard posted the best season for any South Carolina golfer with her 2020-21 campaign, winning a program record four tournaments including her record-breaking performance to claim the 2021 SEC Championship, breaking both the SEC Championship and South Carolina record for lowest 54-hole score (199). The 2021 SEC Player of the Year, just the third Gamecock to earn the honor, added WGCA and Golfweek First Team All-America accolades, and finished as a finalist for the ANNIKA Award, capping off a dominant season.
The Amundi Evian Championship takes place at the Evian Resort Golf Club which plays as a par-71 at 6,527 yards. Roussin-Bouchard played in the last edition of the event in 2019.
