Purdie spent the past two seasons at Wofford after previously spending two years as an assistant coach at Belmont.

“Alec has proven to be an outstanding assistant and has a great knowledge of the Carolinas and youth landscape across the U.S.,” Annan said. “His work ethic, passion and personality is a great fit for our program and his pedigree as a player and his understanding of the game will help our players progress rapidly. I am very excited to work with Alec.”
