Interviewed by Drew Greiner, USC Sports Information

What is it like being a student – athlete?

It has its advantages and disadvantages. It is fun being on the team but at the same time it is stressful. You have to keep your priorities straight along with being on the team.

What is your favorite part of USC?

It feels like home here. You seem to know a lot of people everywhere you go and that is a comforting feeling.

What other sports do you like to watch ?

I like NASCAR, baseball, football, golf. The only sport I am not too fond of is tennis.

What place would you most like to visit?

If I could go to another country, Australia. I would also like to visit somewhere tropical like the Bahamas.

What is your most memorable moment as a rider?

Last year when the team traveled to Fresno, California. I liked visiting a place I had never been before. Meeting new people there was interesting. We also did well in our competition , which was good.

What do you hope to do after graduation?

I want to do something in sales , ideally something related to pharmaceuticals.

What is your favorite TV show?

Crank Yankers. I like any show that makes me laugh.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Graduated from college. I hope to have a job that I like, my own apartment, a new car. Maybe start to settle down by then.

What competition are you most looking forward to this year?

I am most looking forward to Nationals. I have never been to Nationals and am looking forward to going there this year.

What is it like competiting for Coach Duncan?

Overall it has been a very postitive experience. She makes you work hard and earn things. Her discipline makes you a better person and a better rider.
