TV Schedule Revealed for 2020 Women’s Soccer Season

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s soccer will be featured on national television five times during the 2020 season, announced by ESPN’s family of networks Monday.

The Gamecocks will be seen on the SEC Network three times during the season and twice on ESPNU while the entire 2020 SEC Tournament can be seen on SEC Network from Nov. 13-22.

Carolina begins 2020 on SEC Network with a 1 p.m. kickoff against Georgia at Turner Soccer Complex on Sept. 20. The Gamecocks are unbeaten against the Bulldogs in each of the last six meetings dating back to 2015.

A week later the Gamecocks will open up their home slate against Missouri on ESPNU on Sept. 27. Missouri will have its hands full with the Gamecocks at Stone Stadium, where they hold a 51-6-3 record in their past 60 matches.

Kentucky will travel to Columbia on Oct. 4 for Carolina’s third straight match on SEC Network to start the 2020 season. Carolina has won each of the last four meetings with the Wildcats and has not allowed a Kentucky goal since 2014.

The 29th meeting with Vanderbilt will be seen on ESPNU on Oct. 11. Last season the Gamecocks met the Commodores twice, ending in a scoreless draw at home and then defeating them in the 2019 SEC Tournament semifinal on their way to their fifth conference championship in program history.

Carolina’s final national televised match will be a home match with SEC power Florida on Oct. 25. The Gamecocks are 3-0-1 in their last four matches with the Gators, including four straight wins over the Gators at Stone Stadium dating back to 2014.

Starting on Nov. 13, and ending with the championship match on Nov. 22, the 2020 SEC Tournament will be showcased on SEC Network. Every match will be aired from Orange Beach, Ala. at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.
